FREYR Institute is a Danish non-profit organization dedicated to addressing the key societal challenges of the 21st century, including global migration, cultural divides, discrimination, misinformation, mental health crises, and climate change. We work to promote human rights, equal opportunities, tolerance, social and cultural harmony and intercultural exchange. Our efforts also focus on improving media and information literacy, supporting well-being and active lifestyles, and advocating for environmental sustainability and competence.
FREYR Institute's Areas of Focus
What? How? Who?
Supporting the integration of immigrants by providing essential information and resources, while encouraging new Danes to actively participate in our projects, seminars, workshops, training sessions, and other events. Our efforts align with the Danish government’s Integration Action Plan 2020-2024, which highlights the importance of an individual’s decision to become an engaged member of Danish society, embracing its culture and values.
We are committed to promoting human rights, social inclusion, tolerance, acceptance, intercultural understanding, and equal opportunities, while advocating for gender and age equality. Additionally, we promote a healthy and active lifestyle, with a focus on mental and emotional health literacy, stress management techniques, and active aging. |
